The Month of May 2012!!

Above photos are of me wearing my 5 year North Kansas City Sch. Dist. charm, some gifts from parents and me with our Asiatic Lily blossoms. Photos celebrate the last day of school May 25th and my love of flowers May 20th.

The photo to the left symbolizes my bought with pneumonia I saw my Dr. on May 17th. The photo on the right was taken at Heather's KU Graduation Party in Lawrence KS May 13th.
The above two photos were taken at KU's Memorial Stadium, Lawrence KS. May 13th.
This photo was taken May 12 in our living room. It was so nice to have a little family reunion to celebrate Heather's KU Graduation.

The photo above left was taken May 12th at Sea Life Aquarium KS. A ticket stub for a photo taken at the aquarium is also pictured. The photo in the center is of those of us who were able to go to Adam Ondi Ahman on May 11th. The photo just below ctr. was also taken at Adam Ondi Ahman. It is very lovely there.

On May 5th I took this photo of the Super Moon from NKC Hospital parking lot. It was very hazy where the moon came up but it finally got past the haze. The photo below is depicting Jess feeling terrible because he had pneumonia and was treated at NKC Hospital on May 4th.
May was a very event filled month. Jess and I are both feeling much better since taking our antibiotics for pneumonia. Our family members are safe and happy. Life is very good.

Wonderful Blooming Peony Plant!

I am so thrilled that our two Peony plants are blooming for the first time since I bought them 3 or 4 years ago. I think that they have enjoyed the mild winter we've had and they probably thrive with all the rain we are getting this spring Photo taken April 15, 2012.

One of my favorite plants.

I love our creeping Phlox plant. It is so beautiful and covers a larger area each year. This photo was taken March 31, 2012.

Snake Saturday 2012 the beginning of Spring Break!

What a beautiful day for a parade, temps in the high 60's and lots of warm sunshine. Sylvia and I always have such a fun time at the Snake Saturday Parade each year. We met at the parade in 2007. This year North Kansas City is having it's Centennial Celebration. Happy 100th Birthday North Kansas City. I  just love the parade with floats, bands, march/dance teams, The Patriot Guard, cars, old fire engines, dogs, horses, clowns and fun crowds.
