Snake Saturday 2012 the beginning of Spring Break!

What a beautiful day for a parade, temps in the high 60's and lots of warm sunshine. Sylvia and I always have such a fun time at the Snake Saturday Parade each year. We met at the parade in 2007. This year North Kansas City is having it's Centennial Celebration. Happy 100th Birthday North Kansas City. I  just love the parade with floats, bands, march/dance teams, The Patriot Guard, cars, old fire engines, dogs, horses, clowns and fun crowds.

Hungry Squirrel!!

I popped some white popcorn for our squirrels and birds today. I haven't seen any birds but two squirrels are LOVING the popcorn. I took a picture of this one having a good time eating away on a cold winter day. I love our animal and bird neighbors.

   How I love waterfalls. They are breathtaking, beautiful and calming to me. I have shared some of my favorite waterfall photos. I wish that I could go visit each one. I have included the waterfall that I grew up seeing, The Ogden Canyon Waterfall. I love that one also. I hope you enjoy these photos.
