So Ready for 2011-2012 School Year!!

The staff at Ravenwood will begin a workweek on Wednesday August 17th. The children start school on the 24th. I get so excited at the beginning of a school year. I love to see old friends and meet new staff members. It is fun to check out each classroom too. It is just an awesome time of year. GO RAVENS!!

We had a great time at the air expo today at the New Century Air Center by the CAF hanger Olathe, Kansas. We got there early enough to enjoy lots of activities before the temperature started getting hot. We saw a variety of planes, witnessed many of them taking off and landing. We saw two pilots practiced stunt maneuvers in their planes for competition. We got to go inside a DC-3 which was very interesting. The DC-3 transported troops, wounded servicemen and Jeeps.
