It has been over 3 months since Christmas I know. It was a rough weather winter. I don't function too well when the weather is cold, gloomy, just plain nasty or all of the previously mentioned. But I do want to Blog about our Christmas. I was quiet. We celebrated with our dear friend and neighbor Ariela. I hope all of you had a very nice holiday.

The Amazing Heart-Shaped Strawberry

This spring morning as Jess and I were enjoying our Saturday morning breakfast of hot chocolate, hash browns, scrambled eggs, waffles with strawberry preserves and fresh strawberries I noticed the shape of one of my strawberries. It looked very much like a heart. I thought how fun. I love nature so much. It is the little simple things in life that can bring such happiness. Thank you God for the wonders of the world in both simplicity and majesty.

I absolutely LOVE spring. It is so good to go for a walk and to hear the cardinals and other birds singing, to see squirrels scampering about on dry ground and to notice the buds growing on the trees. I enjoy the warmth of the sunshine.
